Preschool children bring stories to life

We have had a busy week in Preschool bringing stories to life! The children told the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears in their own words, using picture cards to help them.

They enjoyed making porridge, just like the bears did and then ate it all up pretending to be Goldilocks!

On Wednesday afternoon Preschool walked down to Great Missenden library and spent some time sharing books together. They understood that they needed to be quiet in the library and to be careful with the books they were looking at. The librarian was very impressed, and praised the children on their amazing behaviour. We were very proud of them all!

Preschool have been interested in exploring numbers up to one hundred. They have been counting up to one hundred and seeing exactly how much one hundred looks like in lego pieces. At home you may like to continue counting with your child and pointing out larger numbers.
