Preschool children have a visit from the Kindness Elves
15th December 2017
The snowfall over the weekend was a fantastic start to our discussion about 'Winter'! The children were full of joy and excitement on Tuesday morning, eager to share their snowy adventures with their teachers and peers. The children came in fully prepared with warm clothes allowing us to go out and explore the snow on the field. They were encouraged to think of descriptive words to describe the snow. Lottie said, 'The snow is glistening and sparkly.' We have made a start to our Winter display, which has already got some lovely photos of some of the children playing in the snow with their family.
The 'Kindness Elves' have landed in Preschool, the children were delighted to be given some 'magic' sparkle from the Elves, to help them with their mission to spread kindness around the world. All the children have thought of something kind they could do at home to help over the Christmas holidays! It would be lovely to see some of these acts of kindness on tapestry.
We would like to wish you all a 'Merry Christmas' and a 'Happy New Year' and look forward to seeing you all again in January.
