Preschool enjoy fun Halloween activities
3rd November 2017
Spooky, pumpkins and abracadabra are some of the words we have been using in Preschool this week.
The children have had fun participating in different Halloween activities. They worked as a team to make a giant spider’s web, searching for the shapes within the web. Some made 3D pumpkins using balloons and string, whilst others decorated paper plates with tissue paper and cut out triangles to stick on.
We made some word witch hats thinking of words that rhymed such as, hat, cat, and rat.
Preschool was full of wonderful baking smells on Tuesday as we made spiced Halloween flapjack.
Today we have been talking about firework safety and how to stay safe around fireworks. The children became scientists and experimented by making fireworks in a jar using oil and food colouring!
We would love to see any of your firework photographs from the weekend on Tapestry.
