Preschool start to think about their Christmas play

Preschool start to think about their Christmas play

The children have been inspired by Poppy’s show and tell and her amazing ballet performance with Marnie and Annabelle. This has inspired the children’s interest in our Christmas play. We have already heard some fantastic singing and seen some brilliant dance moves! By the end of this week all parts will have been allocated and letters sent home to you. The Christmas play is on 7th December at 10 am, in the school hall. Thank you in advance for your support.

As the Christmas fayre is happening next Saturday, 1st December, Preschool will be in full swing creating lots of decorations and designing Father Christmas’s grotto. Lots of glitter, stars and Christmas trees will be adding to the excitement. Please don’t forget to come along. We would be grateful for any decorations you may have at home to support this area.

Amelia’s and Tom’s visits to dinosaur museums has brought dinosaurs to life in Preschool! Dinosaurs have still been featuring in our play and the children have enjoyed making different habitats using varying resources inside and outside. The language and vocabulary being used to give voices to the dinosaurs as they’ve explored has been delightful to listen to. Tom’s remote control dinosaur has proved very popular with all the children. They have been exploring all the functions on the control and were fascinated with how the dinosaur roared and moved. We will be using this interest in ICT to explore other functional toys and discover how they work.

The Preschool team would like to thank all the parents who have attended parents consultations this week. If you were unable to attend and would like an appointment, please see your child’s Key Person to arrange a time to meet.
