Reception children design their own rockets
25th May 2018

The story this week ‘Albie and the space rocket’ by Andy Cutbill, really sparked the children’s imaginations. After listening to the story the children had to design their own rocket using a variety of household items! It was lovely to see the children so enthusiastic, discussing their ideas with a partner and then drawing and labelling their designs. We had all sorts of items included in the designs, ranging from paddling pools to cookers and a garden shed to a shower! The class talked about their designs confidently in front of the class and we all agreed that everyone had a fantastic imagination! Over the half term, please don’t forget to help your child learn their lines for the summer production ready for our return. Have a fantastic half term everyone.
