Reception children enjoy Red Nose Day
15th March 2019

This week we have introduced our ‘Have a go’ books. These are for the children to write in whenever they want to. We encourage everyone to have a go at writing lists, stories, words etc and think about sounding each word out independently. The children have all had a really good try at this and we have had some super stories and factual writing so far! Friday saw the return of ‘Comic Relief’ and of course the red noses! We all had fun coming in with crazy hair styles and learnt a little more about the charity and all the people who benefit from our fundraising. In maths the children have worked in pairs to write a number sentence to match a number story. We have been checking our answers on a number line and making sure that we were using the correct addition or subtraction symbols in our work.
