Reception children enjoy Harvest Festival

The children have enjoyed lots of different activities this week. Our Harvest festival assembly was a great opportunity for the whole school to be together and for each class to share their Harvest box. Reception were very proud to have their beautifully decorated box at the front of the hall on display. Thank you to everyone who bought in donations for our collection. We enjoyed listening to the story ‘The Healthy Wolf’ and discussed lots of healthy foods we should eat in our diet. In Maths this week, the children have worked hard on their first piece of recorded work and have enjoyed seeing their work on the classroom wall. Following on from this they have been very excited to have brought home their own number formation number lines to work on together with you at home. Along with these number lines the children have brought home some sound cards and word cards to reinforce their recognition. Keep up the good work Reception!
