Reception children reflect on a fun filled week

Reception children reflect on a fun filled week

This week we have handed over the newsletter to the children. We have had a big discussion, as a year group, about the things we have enjoyed doing this week. We all agreed it has been a non-stop, fun filled, and action packed five days! The Christmas activities are now in full swing and everybody has enjoyed making Christmas cards, Rudolph faces and paper chains. Here are some of the things we have enjoyed this week:

“I enjoyed doing the school play, because it was exciting”
“I liked my Mum and Dad coming to watch me in the play”
“I liked making our teddy bears in our art lesson”
“I had fun during show and tell talking about me Santa house that lights up”.
“I loved writing my own ‘double’ number sentences”.

Please note that the children are not bringing home any home activity sheets as last week was the final homework of the term. We hope you enjoy the Christmas Fayre and enjoy the weekend.
