Reception enjoy a trip to Mead Open Farm

The children really enjoyed their celebration assembly on Wednesday and being able to share with you just a snippet of their hard work from this term. They are always so proud of their fantastic achievements, as are we! It was lovely to see how some of children’s confidence had grown and were able to speak with clarity in front of a wider audience. We ended the week with our long awaited trip to Mead Open Farm. Luckily the weather held out for us and we had a fantastic time seeing the goats, sheep, donkeys and even llamas. We were lucky enough to see the newly born lambs too! Friday proved to be a very busy day as we even took part in the Sport Relief run in the morning around the tennis courts.
We are looking forward to designing our own Easter eggs next week and even making our very own scrummy Easter nests.
