Reception enjoy a fun filled and creative week

What a fun filled and creative week Reception have had! The Take One Picture ‘An experiment on a bird in the Air Pump’ has really inspired us and we have been focussing on hearts and birds through a variety of activities. Line drawings, paper plate birds, clay birds and fingerprint hearts are just a few of the ways we have explored the painting. It has also been amazing to watch in class some of the experiments you carried out at home over the half term. What a fantastic array of investigations. You certainly managed to capture the ‘awe and wonder’ with the use of photos and videos, thank you for taking the time to share these experiments with us on Tapestry. The children thoroughly enjoyed talking through their experiments with their friends. We are so excited about being able to display all our hard work in the whole school exhibition in a few weeks time, where we hope you will be keen to come and see some of the amazing things your children have been up to.
