Reception children get into the festive spirit

Reception children have been getting into the festive spirit this week as the first of December was here before we knew it! Throughout the week we have decorating our classrooms with trees, tinsel and baubles. At the end of the week we performed the long awaited ‘Hey Ewe’ nativity play. The children have worked so hard and it was a delight to see all of their efforts pay off. They all worked together in a team and the smiles on their faces displayed just how much they enjoyed themselves. We would like to say a very big ‘well done’ to all the children for their hard work and to the parents for helping them learn their lines at home and supply the costumes. As teachers, we were very proud and we are certain as their parents you were too! If any of you took a video on the day we would love to see it. We are sure the children will enjoy a well deserved rest this weekend.
