Reception reflect on the end of their first term

We can’t quite believe that we are at the end of the first term of Reception. What an amazing first term we have all had. There have been so many highlights during the past 12 weeks. We have been on our first school trip, we met the challenge of learning the ‘House poem’ and of course we performed our first production ‘Christmas eve in the toy shop’! We would also like to say a very big thank you to Mrs Grant who took the time to come and speak to us all about the charity ‘Wycombe Homeless Connection’ on Tuesday morning. What an amazing and worthwhile charity and the children really gained an insight into how people less fortunate than themselves have to live. The children asked some very thoughtful questions in order to gain a greater understanding of this charity. Many of you were extremely generous with your donations and we hope these gifts will make someone’s Christmas just that little more happier and know that there are people thinking of them at this difficult time of the year. We hope you all have a very happy Christmas. Well done everyone, we made it and we can’t wait to start the new year, with new adventures, experiences and the chance to make everlasting memories. See you all in 2019!
