As you will have seen on the Tapestry notifications we have started looking at the Take One Picture painting. The children have come up with some really thoughtful ‘I wonder’ questions showing their interest in what is going on in the painting. Over the half term we would like you to carry out and record a simple experiment with your child at home. It would be really great to put some of your home experiments on our EYFS display in the school hall on the Saturday 10th March. We can’t wait to see what you all come up with and look at the photos/videos on Tapestry. The painting (see write up below) is currently hanging in the National Art Gallery in London and if you were looking for a nice day out over half term it would be really fantastic to take your child up to see it and help them develop an appreciation of the scale of the painting. Have a great half term and don’t forget to post your child’s achievements on Tapestry.
