Reception thrilled with their exhibit at Take One Picture

We have had another busy week in Reception. In our gym lesson on Tuesday we had a brilliant time using the apparatus with Mrs Nickel and Mr Judge to balance and jump in different ways. During our French lessons we have been making our own plasticine fruits and got really involved singing the ‘J’aime les fruits’ song with Mme Moral. We were so impressed to see how well the children were focusing and their attention to detail. They looked good enough to eat! We are hoping that you can make it to the whole school ‘Take One Picture’ exhibition where you will be able to see all of the hard work your children have been up to during last week’s activities. We are sure the children will be able to talk you through the Reception section, really bringing the display to life! On Friday we were lucky enough to have a sneak preview of all of the fantastic work of our siblings and friends from throughout the school and we are certain you will love it too!
On Friday 18 March, we will be visiting Mead Open Farm. Your child will not need to bring in their red book bag, but will need their own packed lunch in a named plastic carrier bag. Please may we remind you that we will be throwing everything away and so all containers must be disposable, this includes all water bottles.
