Reception tiptoe to see the chicks
15th June 2018

We were very lucky this week to visit Mrs Kemp's classroom and have a closer look at the week old chicks. We had to tiptoe into the room, nice and quietly and promise to be careful and caring with them. We were so well behaved that we were even allowed to hold one gently. Despite being only 1 week old we were amazed to see that the chicks had already started to grow some feathers and the fluff was beginning to disappear. We also spotted a tank full of tadpoles and had a closer inspection of those too! We had fun having our class photo taken and are excited about seeing the final version. Have a great weekend and don’t forget to keep practising those play words!
