Reception visit planet Mars during workshop

Our first full week back and we have had a very busy time! We have already started to learn lots of new and interesting facts about this half term topic of ‘dinosaurs’. We have learnt why herbivore dinosaurs ate stones, that the weather was much hotter when the dinosaurs roamed the earth and we have even investigated some dinosaur ‘ice eggs’! We have been writing our own number sentences on the whiteboards and learning how to count on. We even visited planet Mars during our fantastic ‘Perform Workshop’ down in Great Missenden Hall! In amongst all of these exciting activities, we have also been playing in our role play ‘baby clinic’ to start us thinking about our Science lessons about growing up. What a super way to start 2018 and enjoy a well deserved rest over the weekend. We have also sent home the new ‘meal choices’ for this term. Please could you tick the meal that your child would like for lunch for all 4 weeks and we can then let the kitchen staff know. Please return by Monday 15th.
