Reception - what do we think of Take One Picture?
4th March 2016
This week the children have enjoyed studying the Take One Picture painting ‘Orpheus’ by Roelandt Savery. On Monday, we looked closely at the painting, discussing whether we liked or disliked it. We learned what it means to have an ‘opinion’ and using the iPad we worked in groups to record one another's thoughts and reasons. The children loved looking at the giant world map at discussing where in the world lots of the animals live. As an added bonus on Friday to end the week we were all invited by Mrs Goodchild to dress up as a character from a Traditional Tale. The turnout was fantastic and we would like to give a shout out thank you to both parents and children for putting so much effort in and paying so much attention to detail. Your children looked amazing.
