Remembering and thanking all those who gave their lives for our liberty

Anniversary of WW1

In the senior assembly we shared memories of our grandparents and great grandparents who were involved in the Great War.

Staff brought in photos, war medals and even an empty brass shell which had been beautifully decorated!

We considered the contributions made by artists, musicians, composers, writers, the advancement in medical science which came about as a result of war but most of all we said ‘thank you’ for all they sacrificed for us today.
