U9 A & B v York House School - Tuesday 23 May 2017

A's won 4.5 to 3.5
B's won 6.5 to 4.5

Mrs Shaw was very proud of the girls on Tuesday at York House. They worked very well as a team and displayed an excellent understanding of the game. It was great to see their confidence develop as they scored half and full rounders. Player of the matches chosen by York House were Zoe Knott and Beth Togneri. Well done girls, a fantastic result.

U11 Rounders v Dair House and Gayhurst - Wednesday 24 May 2017

Gateway won 3 rounders to Dair Houses 2.5 a very close game. Dair House were excellent at fielding and managed to get lots of our girls out. Fortunately, Gateway batted very well and pipped them to the post with an extra 1/2 rounder. Harriet K played a stormer in field with excellent decision making and tactical play.

Gateway scored 3.5 rounders but Gayhurst managed to score 6.5. We batted well but struggled to make it to 2nd base in order to score. It was a difficult game for Gateway as their fielding was not at their best. Lots of half rounders were lost due to 'no balls' and wrong decision making. However, it was a great learning experience for the girls as they were able to identified what they needed to work on during games and club.
