U9 Rugby v Gayhurst - Tuesday 6 November
Our Autumn fixtures resumed this week with a trip to Gayhurst on Tuesday for the whole of Year 4. There were a mixture of touch and tag rugby games taking place all at the same time and it was lovely to see all of the boys and girls engaged and enjoying themselves. The results were varied but more importantly the children gave their all and remained motivated throughout. We discussed the importance of supporting each during games and how we can prevent the opposition from scoring easy tries. Another great experience for the children.
U11 Rugby v Gayhurst - Wednesday 7 November
Gayhurst travelled to Prestwood on Wednesday in a fixture that involved all of the boys from Year 6. The games were fiercely contested with the boys either playing touch or contact rugby. There were plenty of positives to take from the games including a number of excellent team tries on what was a wet and windy afternoon.
