Senior Carol Concert

On Tuesday 10th December years 5 and 6 celebrated the Christmas season with their annual carol concert at the church of St Peter and St Paul in Great Missenden. This is definitely one of the highlights of the school year, a showcase of Christmas carols, songs and readings. The children have been working extremely hard over the past few weeks, learning their songs in preparation for what is always a magical occasion and I have been so impressed by their enthusiasm and energy levels. The packed church of friends, families and staff were in store for a real treat. After a warm welcome by Rev Rosie Harper, Years 5 and 6 performed a selection of traditional and contemporary Christmas carols, together and in individual year groups, highlighted by readings and poems chosen by Mrs O'Hare. Senior Choir and Chamber Choir performed some beautiful carols and it was a joy to hear solos and duets sung so earnestly and with such clarity.
