It has been a fantastic start to our PE lessons this week with everyone eager to learn new things in the activities we are covering this term. Everyone is enthusiastic to take part and make sure they are getting fit and healthy, especially as there have been many fixtures added to the calendar and many more to come as the football season takes off.

May I remind you that pupils need their red socks with their uniform this term as many of the sports require shin guards. They will also require a gum shield that has been moulded.

As you all know Mrs Hughes retired and she has asked me to send on her thanks for the gifts and best wishes she received at the end of the summer term. We will all miss her very much. However I would like to take the opportunity to welcome Mrs Shaw, our new Head of Girls PE.
