U8-U11 Cross Country - Saturday 17 November

Nearly 60 children from Gateway participated in the Bucks Schools Cross Country meet at Lowndes Park on Saturday. It was a beautiful morning for running and despite the undulating nature of the course, we saw some excellent performances. The steep hill climb at the start of the course can easily catch runners out but the Gateway participants showed grit and determination to overcome this and complete the course. It was really pleasing to see the togetherness of the children from our school who cheered on children from their own and other year groups when they were not running. Well done to all involved. U9 Boys Tag Rugby v Dair House - Tuesday 20 November

Having each been invited to participate in five fixtures this term, there is little wonder that the Year 4 boys have made such good progress and they showed this with their performances at Dair House on Tuesday. Both Gateway teams responded brilliantly to the challenge of working better as a team and as a result scored some excellent tries that in some cases included 3 or 4 passes. This was the last match of what has been a good term of development for all of the boys.
