Staff coaching sessions in PE

Determined to maximise the additional teaching time whilst we are unable to participate in inter-school sport, we are putting more time than ever into internal staff development. We have a healthy culture in the Sport and PE department where we are comfortable being observed by our colleagues in a specific area of our teaching that we have identified for improvement. This week, and next, all members of the department will observe one another and feedback on a developmental area. Mr Carey was quick to identify that he was keen to improve the amount and quality of the specific individual feedback that he provided during his lessons. He was observed on two occasions this week with this area of focus and this was hugely beneficial for him and for Mr Butler who was observing him on this occasion
