Sports Update

House Hockey

All of the children from Year 3-6 had the opportunity to participate in House Hockey Competitions this week. Despite the challenging conditions there was no shortage of effort from the players which made for excellent competitions across all of the groups. The winners will be announced during one of our assemblies in the final week of term.

U11 EFL Kids Cup

The return of the EFL Kids Cup was a welcome addition to the fixtures calendar and was organised once again by Wycombe Wanderers FC. The eight boys who took part represented the school with great pride and had mixed results in their matches. The learning point from the games was to better understand when to attack and when to defend in different game circumstances and will be something that we work on when the football season really gets started in January. A good day which included six matches was concluded with each child receiving complimentary tickets to watch Wycombe Wanderers v Doncaster Rovers next year.
