Take One Picture - seven more sleeps!

Take One Picture - seven more sleeps!

We can’t wait to see you at our fantastic Take One Picture exhibition next Friday!

Throughout the school pupils have been focusing on Henri Rousseau's 'Surprised!' painting and you would not believe the huge range of directions they have taken their learning in!

One class has been particularly focusing on the tiger’s eye and have been making eyeballs, tallying eye colour information and researching how eyes work. Another class have turned their attention to the habitat shown in the picture and have explored foliage colours, changes that occur over time in a habitat, made natural pigments from foraged resources and written thought provoking news articles about climate change.

Every curriculum area has been pulled into the learning - Maths, English, Science, D&T, Art, Drama, ICT, French, History, Geography to name just a few!

It’s almost impossible to do the exhibition justice in written words, you really do have to see it for yourself so make sure you visit - Friday 3rd March, 3-6pm in the school hall.

You can find out more about last year’s exhibition here.
