The Lives of Vikings - Year 4 tell the story!
21st June 2019

Year 4 have really been enjoying their final topic of the Vikings and have learned so much in such a short space of time. In English, they have been building tension and using powerful imagery to imagine the vicious raids on Lindisfarne. In Topic, they have learned about the Vikings’ success as traders and used maps and sources to discover what they imported and exported. In drama, they were given a single artifact per group and had to tell the story of whom it belonged to, what it was used for and how it was lost. Everyone aimed to make their performances interesting by involving dialogue and expression and the resulting performances were well-received by the audience.
