U11 Netball Match v Westbrook Hay - Wednesday 30th November

The U11 girls played their first Netball match of the year against Westbrook Hay on Wednesday.

Both teams starting off very well, keeping possession and showing good, strong passes taking the lead after the first half. The A’s stormed ahead with some excellent movement, interceptions and shooting. They finished the game winning 8-3 and the player of the match awarded by Westbrook Hay was Abi H.

The B’s had a very tough second half, with the lead changing every few minutes. Both teams fought hard to keep possession and there were lots of great interceptions. Unfortunately, Westbrook Hay did take the lead in the end by 1 goal. The player of the match for the B team awarded by Westbrook Hay was Shreeya P. Well done girls. I look forward to seeing you play in more netball matches next term.
