U9 and U11 Boys Cricket v Dair House

On Tuesday we welcomed Dair House to Sprinters. All of the boys in Year 4 were selected to participate across the two teams and there was some excellent cricket played. During the course of the match it was clear that improvement was being made, particularly in terms of decision making on when to run and when to stay put. The matches ended with one narrow victory and one narrow defeat.

Wednesday provided an opportunity for some of the Year 6 boys to play their first cricket match of the season. Despite the tricky conditions, the boys stuck to task and demonstrated the progress they have made in cricket during their time at Gateway. Both teams were winners and Mr Carey and Mr Kerry were pleased with their conduct throughout.
