U9 Hockey v Gayhurst - Tuesday 11th October

The Year 4 girls made their debut on Tuesday 11th October playing in their first Hockey match against Gayhurst. The girls were extremely excited about the match and listened anxiously to the positions they were going to be playing. The B’s made a fantastic start by scoring 2 goals in the first half and were up 2-0 at half time. The A’s played very well keeping possession and showing excellent defending skills. The score was 0-0 at half time. With all to play for the girls went out fighting and continued to work hard to keep possession and move in front of the ball to make goal scoring opportunities. The matches finished 3-0 to the B team and 2-2 in the A team game. An excellent result for their first match. Well done girls!!
