Year 1 embark on their adventures

We have been continuing our work using ‘The Journey’ as a basis for your teaching the children’s adventures. We have been discovering what the children’s bedrooms look like, which has been an eye opener in some cases! The children used adjectives to describe what they look like, such as messy, untidy, colourful, beautiful and pink! We have been revisiting how a sentence is written using punctuation such as full stops and capital letters. As the children are using their own situations as inspiration, they have had a lot to write about.
