Year 1 have a very busy week

What a busy week we have had! In English we have been learning about instructions and have enjoyed using bossy, imperative verbs. We have helped Beegu’s parents to find Beegu on earth, writing instructions for them using our imperative verbs. The children have been exploring position and direction in Maths using their left and right hands. We have been measuring the lengths of objects using cubes, paper clips and meter rulers. Multisport circuits and obstacle races in PE have been an interesting challenge. Our Christmas play practice has been coming together well, please continue to practise lines at home. We are looking forward to our explorer adventure on Thursday morning to discover and conquer the Angling Spring woods!
