Year 1 celebrate home learning

This week we celebrate all the home learning that has gone on outside of our google classroom. Year 1 are amazing at online learning ! In fact I have to agree with Miss Topping, who told me that Reception children are making lots of progress due to their hard work during online school. Well, Year 1 are making incredible progress too! Have a look at some of our photos and you will see that our Mums and Dads are providing a whole host of learning opportunities outside of the classroom too. Measuring the wheat growth in a field over time, researching facts about a deer skull found in the woods, visiting a park to study the bark on the different types of trees, sorting play food in a toy shop into the food groups we have been learning about in school; these are just some of the ways we have been learning outside of school. We want to say a big thank you to our home teachers for helping us so much!

Last week we returned to school and have had a super week meeting up with our friends. We have continued to keep in touch with our friends who are home learning through live story times. Well done to everyone in Year 1 for their positive mental attitude!
