Year 1 enjoyed a field adventure

Year 1 has been learning to use conjunctions to join ideas and enjoyed an adventure in the field.

"First, we crawled through a tunnel, then we climbed across some rocks, (the climbing wall) next, we gave directions to our partner to help them navigate through the trees and finally, we ended our adventure in the outdoor classroom, where we wrote messages."

The words for our Celebration Assembly have now been sent home and we would grateful if you would help your child learn these. We will begin rehearsals next week.

Also would you please ensure that your child has a suitable pair of wellingtons and a full waterproof suit in school. These are used each week for Forest School on Thursdays and stay in school for the term.
