Year 1 have an exciting time at Pizza Express

Pizza Express was our destination as we set out on Tuesday in the rain, our spirits were high however and we enjoyed taking the train to Amersham. When we arrived, Rob the manager gave us hats and aprons and we washed our hands, before handling the food. Rob gave us some dough to feel before we began working with a larger piece, flattening it and turning it forming it into our pizza bases. We then spooned on sauce and sprinkled on mozzarella cheese.

While our pizzas were cooking we got to smell and taste a variety of herbs and other toppings.

After saying goodbye to Rob, we returned home carrying our delicious smelling pizzas on the train.

On Thursday next week we are off to Holly Green Farm in the minibus.
