Year 1 focus on our senses of taste and touch
14th October 2016
This week in Science we have been focusing on our senses of taste and touch; tasting sour, sweet, bitter and salty foods and completing a collage of different fabrics, choosing appropriate words such as rough, smooth and scratchy. Very lovely and expressive photographs from the tasting activity are on Facebook.
Poetry has been our main focus in English. The children created actions for ‘The Sound Collector’ and this should help them to memorise the poem.
In addition to enjoying a well earned rest over the Half Term break. please can the children continue to learn this poem? Thank you.
