Year 1 have fun with beebots

What a lovely sunny week, the children have enjoyed playing on the field. In Maths we have been focusing subtraction, position and direction. We have used beebots to programme shapes and follow maps, using positional language within our groups. In English we have been letter writing. We have written three letters, one to the three bears pretending to be goldilocks, one to Farmer Rogers thanking him for our trip and one to reception telling them what to look forward to in year one. Thank you to all for providing costumes for our Summer play which will be on Friday 6th July at 14:00 in the Great Missenden Hall. We have been practising hard! We hope the children are looking forward to move up day on Tuesday and having a day in Year 2.
