Year 1 - Money, money, money

Year 1 has been busy rehearsing their play this week. They are extremely excited to watch their fantastic performance with all of you at home very soon.

Alongside their Hollywood acting they have also been learning about money. This week the children looked very closely at different coins and worked with their friends to make various amounts. They all enjoyed recognising various coins and sharing their own experiences of using money when going to the shops.

To reminisce a little more about Year 1, we completed an End of Year yearbook. It has honestly come round so fast but all the children thoroughly enjoyed drawing pictures of their friends and sharing a range of memories of their time together in Year 1. All the children enjoyed meeting their new teacher and new classmates. We will also be taking our letters to Year 2 to make sure we are fully informed about next year before September.
