Year 1 practice swimming in their pyjamas!

The highlight of this week was swimming in our pyjamas! We learnt how to lie on our backs and catch our breath before trying to swim to safety.

In Maths, our focus has been on time, we have learnt to relate units of time to each other, as well as understand the time that things happen at each day.

In English our work on information texts has begun, we have been writing fact files about houses.

Our celebration assembly is next Friday, the 16th of March at 1.30pm in the Great Missenden Hall. We look forward to seeing you there. Please let us know if you would like to take your child home afterwards.
Just a reminder that we need our pyjamas and swimming costumes again on Monday next week, as we will be learning about water safety. Please remind the children to wring out their pyjamas and put them in their swimming hat before changing.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning for open morning, you will have an opportunity to visit classrooms and see our Take One Picture Exhibition in the school hall.
