Year 1 - problem solving, lists and commas

This week the children have been busy with Christmas activities. In Maths, we demonstrated all of our new learning by independently completing a range of problem solving activities. In English we have been making some lovely Christmas cards, writing Christmas lists using commas and writing letters to Father Christmas!

We had a lot of fun making our reindeer cones filled with different goodies to make a lovely cup of hot chocolate! We hope you enjoy drinking them while watching our amazing Christmas Nativity performance.

Well done to all of the Year 1 children for successfully completing our Gateway Santa Dash. We had some very hot and sweaty runners but they all managed a fantastic number of laps around the field.

To finish our tremendous term we had a lovely Christmas lunch followed by a super party with games, singing and even more party snacks.
