Year 1 sort shapes using a Venn diagram

This week, in English, we have enjoyed a new picture book called “Journey”. The children enjoyed this picture book with no words, we used our imaginations to decide what was happening. We described what we can see, hear, smell, touch and taste using adjectives. We pretended we had our own magic red pen and acted out what we would draw with it. In Science we looked at light sources and discussed where light comes from. We enjoyed working as a team to investigate and share our opinions. In Maths we have revised our 2D shapes and have looked at ways of sorting them in Venn and Carroll diagrams.
