Year 1 wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a lovely start to the New Year!

It has been another busy and exciting week for Year 1 children and teachers after our entertaining play on Friday 7th. The children were enthusiastic and looked very sweet. We were thrilled with their efforts and the children are still talking about their achievements a whole week later.

This week the children have been busy with more Christmas activities. In Maths we have played some Christmas number bond games, snakes and ladders and addition/ subtraction activities. In English we have been making some lovely Christmas cards and writing descriptions of Father Christmas and our Christmas dinner!

To round our term off we had a lovely Christmas dinner followed by a super party with games, singing and even more party snacks.
