Year 1 wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a lovely start to the New Year!

It has been another fantastic week in year 1. The children are still talking about their brilliant performance on Friday 6th December. They were all very enthusiastic and looked very sweet.

This week the children have been busy with Christmas activities. In Maths we demonstrated all of our new learning by independently completing a range of number based activities. In English we have been making some lovely Christmas cards, writing Christmas lists using commas and writing descriptions of Father Christmas and our Christmas dinner!

To finish our tremendous term we had a lovely Christmas lunch followed by a super party with games, singing and even more party snacks.
