Year 2 complete 'My Best' folders

This week

As the school year draws to an end and so does our final full week the children have been busy rounding off in each area of their learning. The children have looked through all the work they have completed this term and picked their favourite pieces to go inside their 'My Best' folders. The children have been amazed to see just how much their work has changed over the course of the year, with many giggles particularly about how their writing has progressed! By the time you read this we will have had our dress rehearsal….hopefully it went well!! The children were so excited to try their costumes on and show each other. A huge thank you for all the time and effort which has been put in, you have truly excelled!!

Next week

Our production next week is on Monday at 2.45pm at Great Missenden Hall and the children are terribly excited to show you how hard they have all been working. The children DO NOT need to bring in their kit bags next week for PE They will still have a lesson on Tuesday but will do this in trainers and their uniform.

At home

There will be no homework sent home this week as we only have two days in school next week. As the children have their performance on Monday at 2.45pm we would really appreciate them going through their lines a few times at home. The entire play is written in rhyming couplets, so it is essential that the children read exactly the lines which were sent home with them.
