Year 2 delight in making 'chocolate crispies'
11th December 2015
In year two this week, we have been enjoying following instructions; the tastiest being how to make ‘chocolate crispies’, as seen by all of our chocolatey faces! We have learnt the importance of ordering instructions and the need to be precise when weighing ingredients.
In RE, we have been learning about the meaning behind each of the symbols in the Christmas story and what happens after each sign. We have also noticed that some of the things we associate with Christmas don’t, infact, have anything to do with the Nativity.
We were so proud of you in the Christmas production - well done!
Next term we will be visiting the Mandir on January 21st. Whilst there, the children will not be allowed to wear shoes; we recommend bringing slipper socks - perhaps Father Christmas will take note!
We wish you a very Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing all your smiley faces in the New Year.
