Year 2 have fun day trip to Aylesbury Museum
29th September 2017
On Tuesday we had a zipfizzing time combining our topics on Roald Dahl and Materials in a trip to Aylesbury Museum. Roald Dahl’s stories were brought vividly to life as the children crawled through Mr Fox’s tunnel visited the Twits house and were shrunk into the TV like Mike TV. Then the children explored the artefacts in the museum and used their knowledge of different materials and their properties to produce a blanket that would be sure to get all four of Charlie Bucket’s grandparents leaping out of bed. At home you could ask your child to pick their favourite Roald Dahl story and enjoy together.
