Year 3 design their very own TOP Trumps

Year 3 have had a fantastic Take One Picture week. The children have really engaged with the activities and produced some great work that we are sure you will enjoy viewing. In Maths the children have been using and building upon many skills ranging from measuring to place value to 3D shapes. All these skills have been used to make some Take One Picture (TOP) Trumps!

The children have all created their own ‘animal’ and these creations have formed the base for our English and Science work. The children have been writing adventure stories with their ‘animals’ saving the day and in Science have made some wonderful 3D habitats.

The children have been very enthusiastic and hopefully they have been bringing some of this enthusiasm home, filling the evenings with tales of what they have done during the day!
