Year 3 has great day out at Green Park
25th September 2015
On Monday, Year 3 headed off to Green Park for an action-packed day of team-building activities. Braving the miserable weather, the children were given a number of challenges including Stepping Stones, Tarpaulin Turnover and the low ropes where their problem solving and group work strategies were put to the test. Armed with their new saying - 'teamwork makes the dream work' - and with the course instructor's epic rendition of Kenny Loggins' 'Danger Zone' still ringing in their ears, here's what some of the pupils had to say about the day:
“I went on the balancing beam and some people found it hard so we helped them” - Will R
“The stepping stones were frustrating because the tiles disappeared as the people stopped stopped stepping on them” - Emily B
“I fell off but I got a big round of applause for carrying on” - Fraser
