Year 3 make periscopes in science
10th June 2016
What a beautiful start to the last half term in Year 3. Much has already been done in the year group since the holidays and in this glorious weather, we have made the most of the sunshine and moved outside for science. This week's science focus has been on how light is reflected. Mr Bridges kindly lent us his periscope and the children very much enjoyed being outside and looking round and over objects. After looking at how the periscope worked, the children then used nets to make their very own periscope. The children were then able to use their newly made periscopes to look around corners, which they loved! We hope that they enjoy using them at home. BEWARE they may be watching you!

Mrs Spratley's class treated all the seniors to a very informative assembly about the Queen and have definitely got us in the mood for the impending Birthday Celebrations on Monday.
