Year 4 and Year 6 Rugby
21st September 2018

This week marked the start of our fixtures programme for 2018/19. On Monday, all of the Year 4 boys were given the opportunity to participate in a Tag Rugby match and we were delighted that they were all able and excited to player. Upon arrival at Thorpe House the boys were understandably nervous but we soon got started and the enjoyment began. The games were competitive with the score of each match very close and some excellent tag rugby was played. An excellent way to start the new term.
The Year 6 boys took on St Bernard’s on Wednesday and demonstrated improving team play. The games were well matched and Mr Hill was particularly pleased with the passing moves that boys produced. The game intelligence shown by the Gateway boys was very impressive and we agreed some goals for our upcoming training and matches.
